As most of you would have known by now… I’ve dropped Kaname. I’m sorry, guys… But he was just too much to deal with, and my muse for him kinda died. I’m a bit disappointed in myself, but I guess it can’t be helped. I’ve left a full explanation for it on the ‘Academy Announcements’ section of Kurosu Academy, if you want to know more. Oh well, at least I can concentrate on being a better mod now. ^^;;

But I’m still writing that giftfic, Anachi! Promise! It’s just moving very slowly...

ANYWAY. I’m extremely pissed off at the moment about something completely unrelated. And I feel so immature for doing so. T-T

Okay, so I ordered Fruits Basket 17 at my local Waterstone's like a month ago. 

WHERE IS IT?

Honestly, where is it? I know that they have to ship it from the US and everything ((Damn Tokyopop UK and their useless-ness)) but it should have been here by now! Godchild 6 came nearly two weeks ago, and I ordered that at the same time.

But still, sticking true to my Kyon icon I will stay calm. I would just prefer to get my Furuba volume before summer is over. Which is in 3 days. 

There's no hope is there....? T-T

To those with Fruits Basket Volume 17 in their possession - Please tell me that Tokyopop have translated the Shikito-ness properly...? It is still 'a definite truth' or is it something else? Please tell me it's 'a definite truth' and not some horrible translation... T-T

Still, it doesn't fill the void of the missing Furuba volume! T-T

Honestly, I better be careful otherwise I might have a new obsession on my hands.

I love it - It's so original and unique... I'm still only on volume two of the novels but I've seen every episode of the anime at least three times. The dub is quite good, one of the best dubs I've seen actually - My only complaint is that I thought the dub Haruhi didn't put as much emotion into her lines as I wanted. I loved the voice but she just sounded really forced sometimes, you know? 

BTW... Yuki Nagato = love. She's my favourite at the moment (with Itsuki not far behind) and she's a great character, I think. And I just have this irrepressible urge to hug her, ya know? She's so cute... I want a Yuki!! T-T

Now I don't really care much for Jpop at all, but when I heard 'SELECT' on Yuki's Character CD, I just had to put it on my mp3 (I have 'Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite' as well, if anyone wants them). I looked up the translation and lyrics for the song and I never realised how deep and sorrowful it was. It really made me think about her character more. Just because her expression and tone are always emotionless, it doesn't mean that she doesn't hold any on the inside.
I saw an amazing AMV with this song on youtube and I have to show you guys. It's so beautiful... ((Link to video))
...And I don't know why, but that song sounds very much like Machi from Furuba. It just has that Machi feel to it. 

Talking of character songs, WhatOcean did a brilliant fandub of Kyon's version of Hare Hare Yukai. I never bothered looking up the lyrics while watching the Japanese version so I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out the fandub. It's such a amazing translation... And so, so funny. XD


...Anyway, on to Shikito! I'm currently putting together a 20 track fanmix to pay my respects to my lovely OTP... I've already written out my explanations for all of them, I just need to download a few more songs and make a cover for it. I want it to look pretty, but my ((lack of)) graphical talent isn't allowing me to do that. T-T

Why am I making fanmix, you ask? For my muse. I still have terrible writer's block and I thought that  making a Shikito fanmix would help with my Akito post for Furuba Tales, but it's not working... ToT

Okay... Seeing as I have friended several Furuba enthusiasts, I decided to put this LJ for good use.

I have heard from many, many people that Akito is a fan of Mogeta. Where does it mention this in the manga? Or is it in a fanbook somewhere?

1. I'm British and currently live in the UK. (yay. o_0)
2. I  have a very dark and twisted sense of humour, so don't mess with me when I cackle.
3. I get distracted easily and have a short attention span.
4. I like to procrastinate. A lot. In fact, I'm supposed to be doing an essay right now...
5. I aim high, but crash down pretty fast.

8. I love the manga 'Fruits Basket' to death, and even though it has ended... I'm still completely obsessed. ((AkitoxShigure fan til the day I die!))
